The Morning Line — Istanbul 2010

Thyssen-Bornemisza Art Contemporary has been invited to con­trib­ute to Istanbul’s con­tem­por­ary art pro­gram as European Capital of Culture 2010 with The Morning Line. A plat­form for con­tem­por­ary music and com­pos­i­tion, The Morning Line is a pub­lic art struc­ture – 8 meter high and 20 meter long, built of 17 tons of coated alu­minum – explor­ing the dis­cip­lin­ary inter­plays between art, archi­tec­ture, music, math­em­at­ics, cos­mo­logy, and science.
